One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is getting to document the most intimate moments of family life. Photos have the ability to capture a special moment in the life of your family, and serve as time capsules to later bring you back to relive them again and again.
Beginning with pregnancy and maternity, a photo session can be an opportunity to document growth and to honor the first chapters of your life as a family. A maternity session can be a visual prologue to the life story of your little one, and for the rest of their life, these photos can serve as a marker for the first moments that their presence was seen and felt in your family.
I believe that the best family photos are the ones where the family looks and feels like themselves – and I consider it my true gift to help make that happen. My goal is to make it fun and relaxing for everyone and to blend in like a long-lost cousin. I want to set you and your family up to be in your authentic element – to document you with honesty and presence in a way that honors whatever your family looks and feels like now.
I believe in reality over perfection, and sincerity over pretense. For your family, that might mean pretty dresses and pressed slacks in a location that holds a special place in your heart, or it might mean pajamas and pancakes, happy at home in a lived-in and well-loved home.
